Loading Shovel Operative

Job Description FM Conway is looking to recruit an experiencedLoading Shovel Operative to join the Aggregate and Asphalt division based in Erith. As our Loading Shovel Operative you will be involved in a range of tasks relating to the manufacture of asphalt. Including production, dispatch and mobile plant operation. This is a permanent, full-time position, working a 4 on 4 off shift which covers days and nights.nnThe duties of the Loading Shovel Operative role will include:nn- Operating the loading shovel and mobile plant equipmentnn- Assisting with the production of asphalt through the loading of materials into the asphalt plantnn- Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance on all mobile plant as required, reporting any defects accurately and in a timely mannernn- Operating other items of mobile plant, such as a telehandler and MEWPnn- Operating the weighbridge, controlling the dispatching of orders and liaising with the commercial teamnn- Carrying out daily housekeeping duties as requirednn- Following site health and safety proceduresnnWhat skills and experience do you need?nnTo be considered for this role you must have a full UK driving license and valid loading shovel license.
