We welcome people of different nationalities, backgrounds, beliefs, experiences, abilities and perspectives. /n We commit to continuing to build a more diverse workforce, which is inclusive and supportive for every individual. /n/n The Role: /n The Deputy Nursery Manager will play a critical role in the successful operation of our world-class nursery.This role will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring colleagues and children are thriving. /n/n Key Deliverables: /n/n Leadership & Strategy /n /n Support the Nursery Manager in developing and leading the team ensuring they are performing at their very best each and every day /n Encourage colleague development and fostering a culture of collaboration, through mentoring, training and performance management /n Responsible for ensuring all colleagues are up to date with mandatory training /n Responsible for running and leading team meetings designed to inspire and provide clear communication to all colleagues /n Support with providing leadership on educational programmes and curriculum including alignment of the EYFS /n Support in recruiting and onboarding all new colleagues, ensuring colleagues become advocates of My Ohana from their first day /n/n/n Operational Excellence /n /n Support the Nursery Manager on the ongoing delivery to ensure the highest standards of childcare and operational efficiency across the nursery /n Support with overseeing the curriculum implementation and alignment of the EYFS /n Management of colleague rotas; ensuring correct colleague levels in line with ratios /n Implement and maintain H&S and hygiene standards across the nursery /n Management of accurate record keeping; including attendance registers, accident reports and children’s development records /n/n Financial Oversight /n /n Support with overseeing fee collection, invoicing and payment tracking /n Support with the management of the nursery budget /n Manage the procurement of resources and suppliers /n/n Stakeholder Engagement /n /n Responsible for building strong long-standing relationships with parents and carers to ensure they feel informed, valued and involved /n/n Culture Champion /n /n Driving a positive and collaborative work environment /n Responsible for colleague engagement, performance management and personal development, ensuring alignment with our company ethos and values /n Be an role model to all colleagues /n Being a proud and enthusiastic colleague /n/n/n What you’ll need to succeed: /n /n A passion and dedication to providing world-class care to children /n Previous experience as a deputy manager or experienced room leader /n To hold a full and relevant early years qualification of Level 3 or above /n Strong people management and leadership skills /n Strong communication and interpersonal skills /n Confidence with technology including Microsoft suite, various programmes and software used in the nursery setting /n Strong problem solving and organisational skills /n Strong desire to learn & grow within the nursery setting /n/n/n What we offer: /n /n Competitive salary /n Company pension scheme /n VIVUP benefits package including retail discounts and wellbeing support /n Access your pay as you earn it /n Free parking on site /n Childcare discount /n Ongoing CPD and training and development programs designed to support professional and personal growth /n Company Events such as summer and winter parties /n Celebration of individual’s life events /n Additional recognition programmes /n/n/n/n /n /n Applicants will need to show they have the right to work in the United Kingdom and the successful candidate will be subject to a DBS, reference and social media checks. /n
