This role will place you within a close-knit team of Maintenance professionals with a wealth of experience between them. The opportunity will allow you to work for a global leader with Chemical manufacturing and will offer structured training plans to develop yourself further.Your duties and responsibilities will beRecognise and report threats due to equipment defectsRespond to Maintenance Team Leader for all aspects of work control and planningRequired to work in conformance with all site procedures and standardsProvides expertise in all areas within core skillsCarries out all duties in conformance with statutory and Company quality, safety, health and environmental regulations and standardsHelp training in all areas within the teamPartake in all departmental and site initiatives (safety, efficiency, and improvements)Help develop Apprentices overall competency in required areasBecomes proactive in all departmental and site initiativesContribution to initiating and pursuing improvement to engineering effectiveness is expected along with the ability to be a hands-on active member of the team as requiredTroubleshoot problemsUnderstand associated hazards whilst working on and maintaining plant assetsTo be able to identify improvements and solutions within their environmentCompetency on stripdown, inspection and rebuild of plant assets.You will have the following qualifications & experienceBTEC (ONC), City & Guilds or NVQ (level 2) in relevant discipline.Minimum of 5 years post apprenticeship experienceCity and Guilds High Risk Confined Space Working NC4 qualificationManaging and working with asbestos Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012 ACoPECITB Mechanical Joint Integrity or equivalentComputer literate SAP S4HANA, Microsoft OfficeIts great if you also have the followingExperience on a Top Tier COMAH site.Understanding of PLC controlled systemsNEBOSH or IOSH certifications.Get in touch nowIf you're seeking a new opportunity to work in a fast paced customer environment, where you will be responsible for ensuring successful customer satisfaction and think you have the relevant skills and experience our client is seeking then apply now orcontact Josh Egerton via LinkedInThe setting for the role Risks and Hazards are in line with working on a chemical site.
