Licensing Technical Officer

Licensing Technical Officer Location: Welwyn Hatfield Hourly rate: 17.85 21.38 per hour Duration: 12 weeks Hours: 37 hours per week, full time Location/Hybrid Working: To be confirmed by the Manager Key Requirements: Strong knowledge of licensing law, guidance, policy and procedures, including Taxi Licensing and the Licensing Act Understanding of enforcement procedures, relevant law and guidance, including PACE Awareness of other local authority services and how they interact with Licensing Ability to write clear, accurate letters, reports and emails for communication with customers, elected members, officers and partner agencies such as the Police, Trading Standards, DVSA, HMRC and VOSA Excellent written, verbal and listening communication skills Ability to maintain accurate notes and records Special Conditions: Current driving licence and access to a vehicle with appropriate business insurance Monitoring visits may be required outside standard working hours To find out more information please contact Lily at Recruitment is done in line with safe recruitment practices. xjdpvnf Apply promptly!
