Warehouse Operator

Duties:Checking in of freight on 2 different systems (ERTS freight and general freight)Locating freight in correct areas of the warehouseInputting data onto computer systems. Booking in of different types of freightRepacking of samples for exporting to other countriesEnquiring that equipment is safe to useDaily bond checks to avoid any cross labellingSorting and labelling cargo ready for exporting abroadUnloading and palletising freight for safe storageLiaising with the transport department on freight due in and size of vehicles requiredEnsuring that all documentation is correctKeeping warehouse clean and tidyWorking to health and safety standards Skills & Experience Required:Good organisational skillsReliability and dependabilityLiteracy & numeracyAbility to meet the physical demands of the jobSelf-motivatedUpbeat and energisedFlexible and willing take on a variety of tasksTeam playerWork hours – 37.5 Hours per week, Monday to Friday (flexibility in working hours and days may be required).
