Nursery Chef

We are currently looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Cook to join our friendly team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys cooking fresh, nutritious meals and working in a warm, child-focused environment. Location: Egham Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 16:00 or 08:00 - 17:00 40-45 hours per week (with some flexibility available) Pay: 12.20 13.50 per hour (dependent on experience) Key Requirements: A valid Food Hygiene Certificate is essential A passion for cooking healthy, balanced meals Ability to work independently and manage kitchen responsibilities Good time management and organisational skills A positive, flexible, and team-focused attitude Desirable (but not essential): Previous experience cooking in a nursery, school, or childcare setting Role Responsibilities: Preparing and cooking nutritious meals and snacks for children Planning menus in line with dietary guidelines and allergen requirements Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety in the kitchen Managing stock levels and ordering supplies as needed Ensuring all meals meet individual dietary and allergy needs Complying with all food hygiene, health, and safety regulations What We Offer: Competitive hourly pay based on experience A supportive and welcoming working environment Consistent weekday hours with no evenings or weekends Flexibility around working hours where possible The opportunity to make a real difference to childrens daily wellbeing TPBN1_UKTJ
