Job Description Permstop Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a leading independent freight forwarder for an experienced Air Freight Export Coordinator.Our client specializes in air freight and is looking for a hands-on professional to manage shipments from booking through to delivery.Mandatory ExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience as an Air Freight Export Coordinator.Core Competencies:Arranging collections.Booking directly with airlines.Procuring rates from airlines.Putting together client quotes.Full Job DescriptionThis is a high-ownership operational role within a growing forwarding environment. You will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of air freight export shipments.Key Responsibilities:End-to-end coordination of air freight export shipments.Booking freight with airlines and overseas agents.Preparation and checking of documentation (HAWB/MAWB, invoices, packing lists, and DG where applicable).Liaising with customers, airlines, handlers, and overseas partners.Monitoring flights and proactively managing delays.Accurate job costing and file completion.Supporting time-critical and urgent shipments when required.Requirements:Proven experience in air freight operations within a freight forwarding environment.Strong knowledge of air export processes.Organised, detail-focused, and reliable.Confident communicator with customers and suppliers.Able to work independently and manage priorities.Desirable Skills:Experience with e-Customs or freight management software.Experience with AOG, pharma, or time-critical freight.Dangerous Goods (DG) knowledge or certification.Position DetailsJob Type: Full-time, PermanentPay: From 30,000.00 per year (dependent on experience)Location: In-person / Office-based onlyBenefits Provided by Client:Company pension & Private medical insurance.Gym membership.On-site parking.Supportive, professional team environment.JBRP1_UKTJ
