Job Description Hooklift DriverLocation: EdinburghJob Type: Temporary ongoingRate of pay: 15.53 per hourWorking Hours: 4 days on 4 days off. 40 hours per weekStart Date: ImmediateWe are seeking a skilled Hooklift Driver to support operations at our Clients busy Recycling Centre. You will play a crucial role in the efficient collection and transport of recyclable materials, contributing to a cleaner, more sustainable future.Key Responsibilities:Safely operate hooklift vehicles to collect and transport recycling containers.Deliver materials to and from various recycling facilities and client sites.Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with safety standards.Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance to ensure roadworthiness.Work closely with the recycling team to maintain high operational efficiency.Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.Requirements:Valid Class 2 (Category C) HGV licence.Current CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence).Valid tacho cardPrevious experience operating hooklift vehicles is desierable.Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.Knowledge of Edinburghs road network and surrounding areas.A positive attitude and ability to work independently.Interested?
