Craft Scotland has an exciting new role for a Creative Director to join ourteam. Closing date:5pm, Friday 22 August 2025 Interview date:8 / 9 September (date tbc)Craft Scotland is seeking a Creative Director to lead on our Presenting Craft Programme.Over the past 17 years, Craft Scotland exhibitions, showcases and awards have helped to establish the reputation for creative skill and ambition in Scottish contemporary craft and makers.We are looking for a Creative Director who will shape high profile, ambitious public events nationally and internationally, and support makers, curators and other craft professionals for the benefit of the craft sector in Scotland.We have a three-year strategy in place to 2027-28, but the Creative Director will have scope to develop new ideas.Working closely with Craft Scotland’s Director, the Creative Director will progress a strategy of income diversification for the organisation including commercial income streams, fundraising, sponsorships and partnerships.This new role is a rare opportunity for someone with a passion for craft and proven industry experience to help shape the next chapter of Craft Scotland’s programme and wider work across the craft sector.Full information about the role, key accountabilities and capabilitiesis available in the Recruitment Pack.
