Employment Senior Solicitor (4 years'+) A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a leading team based in Edinburgh. You’ll work with a diverse client base on a wide range of employment law matters. The role focuses primarily on employer-side work, advising on both contentious and non-contentious matters. You’ll manage your own caseload while supporting colleagues on more complex cases. What you’ll be doing: Advising on day-to-day employment issues, including disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and TUPE matters Handling the employment aspects of corporate and outsourcing transactions Representing clients in employment tribunals, including discrimination, whistleblowing and dismissal claims Supporting clients with settlement agreements, sickness absence issues and ACAS early conciliation Advising on trade union and collective consultation matters Contributing to business development and building long-term client relationships The team is known for its practical, accessible advice and tailored service, offering a collaborative, down-to-earth culture with plenty of scope for progression. About you: 4+ years’ PQE in employment law Strong track record advising and representing clients in employment tribunals Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills Able to work independently and as part of a team Commercial awareness and ability to deliver pragmatic, client-focused advice You’ll benefit from a supportive, flexible working culture with access to in-house and external training to support your professional development.
