Job Description About the CompanyAn award-winning law firm is seeking an experienced Legal PA to join its busy Real Estate team in Edinburgh. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative, forward-thinking firm known for its supportive culture, modern working environment, and strong PA network across Scotland.About the RoleYou will support a fast-paced transactional Real Estate team, including two Partners and a team of associates and NQ solicitors, assisting with the smooth running of property transactions. The work focuses mainly on property transactions, including the buying and selling of multiple units and portfolios. A key part of the role involves supporting property completions, ensuring all financial figures, payments, and documentation are accurate and processed on the correct completion date. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with numbers and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to provide PA support to multiple team members, working collaboratively to ensure the team operates efficiently.ResponsibilitiesSupporting fee earners with property transaction completions, ensuring all figures, payments, and relevant interest calculations are accurateWorking closely with finance teams to assist with billing, reporting, and management of matter balancesManaging matter inception processes, including engagement letters and liaising with internal teamsCompleting conflict checks and client due diligence processesAssisting with file management, billing processes, and matter closuresSupporting business development activities, including organising events, conferences, and client meetingsMaintaining CRM systems, fee earner CVs, and credentials databasesAssisting with bids, tenders, and marketing initiativesCoordinating meetings, preparing documentation packs, and arranging travel when requiredLiaising with document production teams for preparation and amendment of legal documentsQualificationsAt least 3 years experience in a Legal PA or similar role within a professional services environment (open to other sectors)Required SkillsStrong numerical skills, and confident with working with figures/fees & billingsExperience supporting multiple fee earners or partnersConfidence working with financial information and transactional processesStrong organisational and communication skillsExcellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced Microsoft Office skillsA collaborative and flexible approach to supporting a wider teamBenefits includeBenefits include:25 days holiday with a holiday buy-back schemeDiscretionary bonusPrivate healthcareHybrid working (3 days in the office, 2 from home)Extensive training and development opportunitiesModern brand-new Edinburgh offices in a prime city centre locationEqual Opportunity StatementWe are committed to diversity and inclusivity.
