As a Field Service Engineer, youll play a crucial role in helping people live at home and supporting them to lead better lives. Your work will have a direct impact on improving the quality of life for individuals in needincluding supporting the NHS, hospitals and care homes to deliver essential services.Applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance of our site in EH16, Edinburgh. Ideally, you should be based within approximately a 45-minute drive to ensure reliable travel to and from work. What Youll Be DoingYoull maintain and service medical equipment, ensuring high standards of care and customer satisfaction. Youll travel between sitesincluding customer homesand be responsible for installations, collections, repairs and cleaning in line with infection control policies.Key Responsibilities:Service and repair Drive Medical and competitor productsPlan daily tasks for maximum efficiencyCarry out unplanned and PPM and repairsCommunicate effectively with internal teams and customersDeliver exceptional customer serviceHandle equipment safely and follow health & safety protocolsMaintain van stock and complete accurate paperworkParticipate in the on-call rotaSupport additional duties as required by managementWhat Were Looking ForTraining will be provided for the right candidate.Manual handling and driving skillsEmotional resilience when working with vulnerable customersKnowledge of medical equipment such as profiling beds, hoists, wheelchairs, and moreUnderstanding of infection control and inventory managementFamiliarity with LOLER regulations and service administration would be advantageousOther desirable skills and experience:PAT TestingFirst AidFire Warden certificationWhy You'll Love Working With UsWere not sharing the salary just yet, but its competitive and worth talking about.
