Offering the full range of wealth management solutions we have available.ResponsibilitiesClient workRelationship ManagementYou will be responsible for managing and growing your own portfolio of clientsWhere necessary, supporting colleagues in the provision of financial planning adviceWealth ManagementTo provide comprehensive Wealth Management & Financial Planning AdviceTake responsibility for the provision of advice on all aspects of financial planningReviewing existing plans; advising on pooled investment vehicles, the use of bonds, onshore and offshore; life and other protection plans; retirement income planning; pensions, inheritance tax planning, tax-led investments, cashflow modelling, etc.Supporting fee-based financial planning advice provided across a broad range of services including all forms of pensions, investment, savings, protection and tax planning vehiclesTo confirm the suitability of life, pension and potentially investment plans already held by clients and to assist in developing future arrangementsPerformance MeasurementPerformance will be measured against a balanced scorecard covering: Financial contribution, strategic engagement, risk and compliance and behavioursProcessFollow our established processes to deliver our Wealth Management 360 service and other financial planning solutionsProviding all advice in line with our suitability frameworkReportingProvision of annual reviews and related advicePrepare and issue regular financial planning reports for clients in conjunction with colleagues in the investment team, where applicableSupportWork internally with others advisers in the private client team, and externally with solicitors, tax specialists and accountants, utilising available sources to ensure that report and other deadlines are metDeveloping Business With New ClientsTo engage with and understand prospective clients needsTo present and discuss the appropriate 7IM proposition to prospective clients and follow through individually tailored proposals, to reflect the proposition agreed with themTo convert such prospective clients into clients of 7IM and gain additional assets and revenueNon-client workResearch & StrategyParticipate in departmental and external provider meetingsTake lead responsibility for the research/analysis of the areas of advice allocated to you and with reference to the 7IM styleSupport a collegiate environment for the teams discussions and development of the Private Client Teams strategyInformation TechnologyMaintain an understanding of the Companys systems and use in line with company policy for the maintenance of all client records.MarketingAssist with the marketing and promotion of the Companys wealth management services both externally and within the GroupBack OfficeMaintain a thorough understanding of back office procedures including client take-on procedure, client report production, financial planning process, valuations and advice procedures, all of which are to be provided via XplanOtherUndertake any projects or longer-term responsibilities that are assigned to youAct in the best interest of clients ensuring the FCAs requirements and Company policies in relation to Treating Customers Fairly, MiFID II and SMCR are adhered toIn this role, it is essential that you consistently follow the FCA's Consumer Duty principles.
