Job DescriptionBusiness Support Administrator Edinburgh (Hybrid Working)Full-time (35 hours) or Part-time Options AvailableContract: 1 August 2025 31 July 2026, with possible extensionA dynamic and collaborative team is seeking a proactive and well-organised Business Support Administrator to support core operations across governance, finance, and corporate services. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys delivering high-quality administrative support.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide general administrative support including meeting planning, coordination, and delivery.Process financial transactions (e.g. purchase orders, invoices, card transactions, grant payments) using Oracle Finance or similar systems.Monitor budgets and support financial reporting activities.Manage and maintain governance and compliance trackers (e.g. travel, expenses, benefits, holidays).Support project management processes and documentation.Collaborate across multiple teams to support consistent, accurate, and timely service delivery.Essential Skills and ExperienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging at all levels.Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.Proven experience in a busy administrative role.Strong IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Experience with Oracle Finance or similar systems is desirable.Working Pattern & LocationHybrid model: a mix of office and remote work (to be agreed with the manager).Flexible hours Monday to Friday, between 7am and 7pm.Occasional travel between offices may be required.Overtime is not applicable.Applicants must hold a valid Basic Disclosure Certificate.Security clearance to Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) is required prior to starting.If this sounds like an opportunity you would be interested in apply today or get in touch for further details!
