Job Description Salary up to 32,000 per annumFull time, office-based role in central EdinburghFront of house position with legal administration exposureWe're working with a law firm in Edinburgh that is looking to bring in a Legal Administrator / Front of House to support their Equity Release, Conveyancing and Commercial teams. This role acts as the first point of contact for clients while also providing administrative support across property transactions. It suits someone looking to build experience within a legal office while working in a client-facing position.Responsibilities include:Acting as the first point of contact on reception, answering and routing calls and taking messagesMeeting and greeting clients and visitors and ensuring a professional front of house experienceManaging the reception inbox and directing enquiries to the appropriate teamsOpening, sorting and distributing Royal Mail and preparing outgoing post for collectionCollecting and delivering DX from the ExchangeMonitoring and ordering office stationeryInputting client details into the firms internal systems and onboarding new client informationRequesting and monitoring ID verification through AmiqusPreparing and sending welcome letters to clientsChecking Registers of Scotland to confirm property register detailsOrdering title deeds where required and scanning and filing documents within internal systemsMaking outbound calls to clients to welcome them, book meetings and provide updatesBooking meetings, preparing documents and updating calendars for the teamSubmitting advance notices and sending documents to lenders solicitorsPreparing fee notes, statements and completion documentationSupporting the wider team with administrative tasks and call handling as requiredWhat we need from you:Previous administrative experience, ideally in a professional services environmentConfident telephone manner and ability to manage a busy reception lineStrong written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detail when handling documents and client informationAbility to prioritise tasks and manage multiple pieces of workComfortable using Microsoft Office and general office systemsLegal or conveyancing exposure is helpful but not requiredIf you're interested, then hit that apply button or reach out to Jack Lloyd directly on [email protected].
