Senior Account Manager - Medical Communications

After an exciting new rebrand this integrated healthcare communications agency is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their medical communications team. The agency has had an incredibly exciting few years including moving into amazing new offices on the river Thames with its sister agencies, growing its US presence, and investing significantly in growth, particularly in new junior talent. Their capabilities and projects are very broad covering medical affairs, commercial & marketing, market access & HEOR, clinical trials, comms, advocacy and PR.If you have solid healthcare agency experience and want to join an agency working at the forefront of life-changing communications, then this is the perfect opportunity.(N.B The role can be remote (must be UK-based), hybrid or fully office based in London).The Senior Account ManagerYou will work within their medical communications team (the biggest team in the agency) on a range of medaffairs projects and accountsWorking with top pharmaceutical and healthcare clients on allocated accountsYou will provide clients with effective counsel, be responsible for challenging briefs, managing issues and ensuring quality service, as well as recommending innovative and strategic solutions.Setting and managing budgets on your accountsAdvocating for the agency in new business, including getting involved with pitches etc.RequirementsHealthcare agency experience up to at least account manager levelAbility to juggle multiple projects and deadlinesExperience in managing the finance of a project and tracking budgetsAbility to adapt to new therapy areas, projects and accountsA passion for healthcare and making a difference through communicationsWhat you will get in returnAn agency with a truly flexible approach, no pressure to be in the office, however access to a very sociable and buzzy central London office as much as you wishEveryone has two line managers and one mentor to support your development and growthAn exciting social calendar for example, wine & cheese nights, Halloween party etc etc.Opportunity to get involved with various electives for example, pro bono work, volunteering, social committee, DE&I initiativesA huge variety of work in different therapy areas including diabetes, obesity, gastro, alzheimer’s, women’s health, cardiovascular, vaccines, neurology, rare diseases to name a few!
