Job Title: Payroll AdministratorLocation: Billericay, Essex (Office-Based)Salary: £28,000 – £32,000Contract Type: Full Time, PermanentSystem: Sage 50 (experience desirable)Benefits: Free parking, 25 days annual leave + bank holidaysWe are seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to join a friendly and supportive team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives on accuracy, enjoys client interaction, and can manage a varied payroll portfolio.About the RoleYou will be responsible for managing a portfolio of monthly, fortnightly, and weekly payrolls, as well as processing monthly CIS returns. The role involves regular liaison with clients, HMRC, and pension providers to ensure a smooth and compliant service.Key ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-end payroll processingManaging starters and leavers (including P45s)Calculating salaries and ensuring compliance with NMW and statutory payments (SSP, SMP, etc.)Uploading and submitting pension data to providersLiaising with HMRC and The Pensions RegulatorResponding to client queries accurately and promptlySubmitting Declarations of Compliance to The Pensions RegulatorProcessing CIS returns and claimsAbout YouMinimum of 1 year’s payroll processing experience (essential)Sage 50 Payroll experience (desirable)Strong communication and organisational skillsAbility to plan, prioritise, and meet strict deadlinesExcellent attention to detail with a “right first time” approachAble to work independently and collaboratively as part of a teamWhy Apply?Supportive and welcoming work environmentExposure to a diverse client portfolioCompetitive salary with potential for progressionFree parking and enhanced holiday allowanceIf you meet these requirements and are keen to explore this opportunity, reach out:✉️ Email: liamh@
