CNC machine operatorScope of RoleTheMachine Operativeis responsible for having an understanding of machinery functions and set up along with a knowledge of the software of the machine. They will also have the skills to inspect and carry out basic maintenance and adjustment to ensure production processes continue smoothly and safely.Rate of pay -24per hour with overtime on offer @33 per hourShifts- Nightshift(39 hrs Monday Thursday 7:45pm -5:45am)Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesCarry out CNC Operations in accordance with instructions and documentation provided.Ensure compliance with all policies, specifications, regulations, procedures and work instructionsCheck that equipment used is working correctly and fit for purpose, record defects and notify supervisorReport any defects to the Maintenance DeptCarry out necessary program, tooling dimensional checks and inspections, as necessaryMaintain traceability through machining processComplete production records as work progressesChecking and maintaining quality throughoutInspecting parts to drawings and making adjustments, or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality specificationsMaintain high levels of housekeepingAuthorities, Interface, Reporting and SupervisionLine report to the Machine SupervisorLiaise with Supervisors/ChargehandsHealth, Safety, Environment & QualityWork in a safe and responsible manner taking reasonable care of your own and other peopleshealth and safetyFollow and adhere to all training receivedEnsure that HSEQ policies and practices are adhered toReport an accidents, incidents and near misses to the QHSE ManagerReport any defects/fabrication non-conformities to your supervisorMaintain records and traceability throughout the fabrication processWear and look after issued PPE/RPENot to deliberately interfere with or misuse anything provided to maintain safety and to comply with legislationParticipate in risk assessments and comply with controls specified in the risk assessmentSkills, Knowledge and AttributesAbility to multitask, prioritise workload and work effectively under pressureMeet targets and complete jobs within deadlines in a safe and tidy mannerIn-depth knowledge of and respect for current and relevant H&S requirementsTeamworkAbility to work to deadlinesAbility to read engineering drawingsPlease apply direct with your cv attachedJBRP1_UKTJ
