PSV Field Technician

RoleOverviewAsaFieldServiceEngineer,youwillplayakeyroleinprovidingonsiteandremotesupportforarrangeofelectricandhybridvehicles.Youwillberesponsibleforservice,diagnostics,repairs,andmaintenanceatcustomerpremisesanddepots,ensuringworkiscompletedtothehigheststandardandinalignmentwithcompanypolicies,safetystandards,andcustomerexpectations.Thisroleinvolvesregionaltravelandoccasionalovernightstays,withregulartrainingprovided.KeyResponsibilitiesConductallaspectsofPSVmaintenance,inspections,faultdiagnostics,andrepairson-siteatcustomerlocationsorattheservicecentre.Deliverhigh-quality,efficient,andcost-effectiverepairsusingup-to-datetechnicaldocumentationanddiagnostictools.Workcollaborativelywithcustomers,theorganisationscallcentre,andpartsdepartmenttoensuretimelydefectreporting,partsordering,andissueresolution.Accuratelycompleteandsubmitjobcards,servicereports,andriskassessments;ensurecustomersign-offpriortoleavingsite.Digitallyscanandsubmitcompletedjobdocumentationtotheservicecentrebytheendofeachworkingdayorassoonaspossible.Proactivelyparticipateinproductandtechnicaltrainingsessionstostaycurrentwithproductdevelopmentsandservicetechniques.Supportcustomerswithrepairsandservicingactivitiestobuildstrongrelationshipsandenhancetheirunderstandingoftheproduct.EnsureasafeworkingenvironmentatalltimesbyfollowingHealth&Safetyproceduresandcarryingoutpoint-of-workriskassessments.Maintainprofessionalconductandrepresentthecompanysvaluesineverycustomerinteraction.RequirementsFullUKdrivinglicenceCity&GuildsLevel3inVehicleMaintenanceorequivalentqualification(essential).Provenexperienceinservicingandmaintaining(PSVs),HGVsorCommercialvehiclesStrongdiagnosticandfault-findingskills,ideallywithexperienceinelectricorhybridvehicletechnology.Abilitytoworkindependentlyandmanageworkloadsacrossmultiplecustomersites.Excellentcommunicationskillsandacustomer-centricapproach.Willingnesstotravelregularly,includingoccasionalovernightstayswithreasonablenotice.Commitmenttocontinuouslearningandupholdingthehigheststandardsoftechnicalservice.JBRP1_UKTJ
