In-House Employment Lawyer - Leading Investment Bank

Our clientOur client is a leading European Investment Bank who are seeking an individual to work within a brilliant, close knit legal team as an employment counsel. The individual carrying out this role will work closely with HR, providing a mix of contentious and non-contentious legal advice on a range of employment matters.Key ResponsibilitiesDelivering legal support on all employee relations issues, including handling grievances and disciplinary cases, and supporting HRE internal employee investigations.Supporting the dispute resolution team in managing employment related litigation, particularly cases arising from the SMCR and other HRE matters.Drafting and reviewing HR related commercial agreements and forms/templates, and assisting HRE in updating relevant HR policies.Advising HRE on developments in case law or legislative changes, and providing legal training to HR on new legal requirements.Providing general assistance to the Dispute Resolution team in relation to a range of litigious processes, contentious regulatory matters, and various internal investigations.Experience Requirements:Qualified lawyer ideally between 2-6PQE either from a leading employment practice in a law firm or have moved in-house (financial services experience beneficial).Experience in having day to day responsibility for advising on HR related matters in addition to some contentious employment experience.Comfortable communicating with senior internal stakeholders on employment law developments, risks, implications, and issues.Due to the high volume of applications, if you haven’t heard back from the team on this role, unfortunately, your application has been unsuccessful.
