Projects Engineer £35,000 £40,000 + Bonus Edenbridge (office-based) with travel to client sites across the UK Are you currently working in an MSP and ready to step into a more project-focused role? Do you enjoy building solutions from scratch, getting hands-on with networks, servers, and new client deployments? Are you confident setting up environments end-to-end and want to work with a fast-growing, ambitious IT provider? We are recruiting for a Projects Engineer to join a growing Managed Service Provider based in Edenbridge. This is a role for someone who loves variety: one day you may be building out a new client network, the next you may be handling a Microsoft 365 tenant migration, and the next you may be deploying hardware onsite anywhere in the UK. This is a genuinely exciting time to join a business that is scaling quickly. You will work closely with the senior engineers and project managers, delivering high-quality technical solutions for a wide range of customers. The role You will be responsible for delivering customer projects end-to-end, including planning, configuration, installation, and handover. This includes: - New client onboarding and environment builds - Full network deployments using Meraki and UniFi - Server builds (both Windows and Linux) - Microsoft 365 tenant setup and configuration - Autopilot deployments - Apple Business Manager and Addigy management - Physical kit installs, patching, rack builds, cable tracing, and onsite troubleshooting - Incident resolution during project rollout - Working with the support teams to hand over completed projects - Travelling to customer sites across the UK when required (expenses covered) What you need to bring - Strong understanding of networks, routing, switching, VLANs, firewalls, and Wi-Fi deployments - Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration (tenants, migrations, policies, security) - Familiarity with Autopilot and modern device management - Hands-on skills in physical installation, rack setup, and troubleshooting - MSP background is strongly preferred Desirable - Experience with Meraki and/or UniFi - Experience with Apple Business Manager and Addigy (or similar tools) - Confident building Windows and Linux servers Why this role stands out - Growing MSP with ambitious plans - Real ownership of projects and solutions - Exposure to a wide variety of technologies - Supportive team and opportunity for development - Bonus scheme on top of base salary If you are currently working in an MSP, understand networks well, and want to move into a projects-focused position, I would be happy to talk through the role in more detail.
