Workshop Plant Fitter Location: Horton Heath (Eastleigh/Southampton) Salary: 30,000 40,000 DOE Hours: Monday to Friday | 7:00am 4:00pm NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and reputable organisation who are looking to recruit an experienced Workshop Plant Fitter to join their growing engineering team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer to work with a wide range of heavy construction plant in a stable, days-only role. The Role As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a variety of heavy construction plant machinery. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring equipment is maintained to a high standard, minimising downtime and supporting operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Service, maintenance, and repair of heavy construction plant machinery Carry out fault finding, diagnostics, and mechanical repairs Complete planned maintenance and reactive breakdown repairs Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety regulations Maintain accurate service records and job documentation Work collaboratively within the workshop team to meet deadlines The Candidate Previous experience working on heavy construction plant or similar machinery is essential Strong mechanical knowledge, with hydraulic and electrical fault-finding experience advantageous Relevant engineering or plant qualifications are beneficial but not essential Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards of workmanship The Package Competitive salary between 30,000 40,000 depending on experience Monday to Friday days role excellent work/life balance Stable and supportive working environment Opportunity to work with a reputable and growing organisation If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply today or contact NEOS Engineering for more information.
