Job Description EstimatorEastleigh, HampshireSalary 60,000 - 80,000 (Depending on Experience) + 25 Days Holiday + Car Allowance + Pension Blaymires Recruitment is representing a well-established and growing construction company based near Eastleigh that is seeking an Estimator to join their team.The company has been operating for over 25 years and delivers a diverse range of new build and refurbishment projects across the residential and commercial sectors. Project values typically range from 300k to 5 million.This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and reputable business offering a varied workload, long-term career prospects, and a supportive working environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPreparing accurate and competitive cost estimates and tender submissionsReviewing drawings, specifications, and project documentationTaking off quantities and producing detailed bills of quantitiesObtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotationsIdentifying risks and value engineering opportunitiesLiaising with clients, consultants, and internal teamsSupporting negotiations and contract handovers to the delivery teamAbout YouProven experience as an Estimator within the construction industryExperience pricing projects between 300k5mBackground in residential (high-end and/or social housing) and commercial projects preferredStrong knowledge of construction methods and materialsExcellent numerical, analytical, and organisational skillsProficient in estimating software and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple tenders simultaneously and meet deadlinesWhat We OfferSalary 60,000 - 80,000 (Depending on Experience)25 Days Holiday + Car Allowance + PensionOpportunity to work on diverse and high-quality projectsSupportive and collaborative team environmentCareer development opportunities within a growing companyTo find out more about this role contact Steve at Blaymires Recruitment.JBRP1_UKTJ
