Job Title: Senior Bid Writer / Bid ManagerThe information below covers the role requirements, expected candidate experience, and accompanying qualifications.Salary range: Competitive PackageLocation: Bracknell (3 days in the office, 2 days remote) - we may also consider other locations such as Hemel Hempstead or Swanley for the right candidateAre you an experiencedSenior Bid Writer ready to lead winning bids and inspire a growing team?Were looking for astrategic, creative, and detail-driven professional to manage the full bid lifecycle and deliver high-quality, compliant submissions that help us secure exciting new projects.Youll lead a talented team of2 Bid Writers and a Bid Executive, driving best practice, collaborating across departments, and ensuring we consistently deliver stand-out, client-focused bids.What You'll Do :Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing bid teamDeliver high-quality, compliant, and timely bid submissionsDesign and implement winning bid strategiesManage the bid pipeline and collaborate with Business Development & OperationsBuild strong internal and external relationships to support successDrive process improvements and ensure consistency and complianceTrack win/loss rates, analyse feedback, and improve performanceWhat We're Looking ForWere looking for someone who is both a natural leader and a strategic thinker someone who thrives on collaboration but isnt afraid to roll up their sleeves and get hands-on when needed.You should bring:Proven experience managing the full bid lifecycle in the construction or social housing sectorStrong people management skills with the ability to motivate, mentor and develop a teamExtensive knowledge of UK procurement regulations and processesExperience creating, developing and managing robust bid processes with strong governanceExcellent writing, communication and stakeholder management skillsHigh levels of organisation, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritiesA proactive approach, with a knack for spotting opportunities and improving processesWillingness to occasionally work flexible hours when needed for deadlines or client engagementsA full, clean UK driving licenceDesirable, but not essential:Degree-level education or equivalentRelevant professional qualificationsPrevious tender/proposal writing experienceWhy work with us?
