Category ManagerLocation: Brighton (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)Alexander Lloyd are partnering with a large organisation based near Brighton who are looking for an experienced Category Manager to take ownership of strategic sourcing and procurement across key areas within the business. What You’ll Do:Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies to deliver value, reduce costs, and drive continuous improvement.Collaborate with senior managers and stakeholders to shape demand and optimise supplier performance.Lead full lifecycle procurement activity, ensuring compliance and commercial best practice.Identify and deliver cost efficiencies through standardisation, demand aggregation, and tail spend reduction.What You’ll Bring:Proven experience managing categories such as construction, engineering, or asset purchase/hire.Strong commercial acumen with excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Understanding of relevant procurement regulationsA proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement.Get in touch to hear more!
