Critical Care Nurse

Paragon Home Healthcare is seeking experienced Critical Care Nurses to support a lovely lady in Eastbourne who requires advanced clinical care following a spinal cord injury. This role involves managing complex needs such as tracheostomy and ventilator care, bowel management, suprapubic catheter care, and hoist transfers.Youll be responsible for providing high-quality care, mentoring HCAs, and ensuring the care plan is followed with clinical oversight from our Nurse Practitioner team . Youll work alongside a supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for the client, while building a stable care model for the future. Key Responsibilities: Provide advanced care, including ventilator management and tracheostomy care . Monitor patients condition , administer medications, and maintain accurate care records . Mentor and support HCAs . Liaise with the clinical team and family to ensure comprehensive care . Pay and Shifts: Day Shift: 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. (approx. 33.84/hour weekdays , 40.60/hour weekends ). Night Shift: 8 p.m. - 8 a.m. (approx. 40.60/hour weekdays and weekends ). Location: BN20, Eastbourne ( own transport required ). Travel Reimbursement: Travel expenses are reimbursed with an added incentive to cover your journey. These are capped ensuring that long travel distances are manageable and rewarding. What Were Looking For: Experience: Minimum 12 months in ICU/ITU or complex care . Qualifications: Valid NMC registration . Skills: Strong clinical and mentoring abilities .
