Job DescriptionJOB ROLE: Interim Transition Manager - Recycling & Waste ServicesLOCATION: South East England CONTRACT LENGTH: 12 months (likely extension)DAY RATE: Outside IR35DAYS IN OFFICE REQUIRED: Hybrid (2-3 days per week onsite)Panoramic Associates is currently working with a Local Authority client to facilitate the appointment of an Interim Transition Manager - Recycling & Waste Services on an interim basis for 12 months (with likely extension).The council is undergoing a significant change project, to their weekly collection service. This post has become available to lead the transition project through delivery, working closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure a smooth operational shift, aligned with council objectives and deadlines.Responsibilities of the Role:Lead the end-to-end transition of waste services from sacks to wheelie binsEngage with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive project successOversee project timelines, risks, and compliance with Health & Safety protocolsSupport procurement, service mobilisation, and internal team coordinationTo be successful in the role you will have:Proven experience in project or change management, ideally within local government.A background within the waste/environmental sector and understanding of relevant legislation.Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage service transformation initiatives.Procurement experience within council setting.Next Steps This assignment is a 12-month contract (with likely extension) and offering between a day rate Outside IR35.
