They need someone whos confident in front of those customers, but equally at home in hairnet and boots, leading the technical agenda across the site. That means making sure the basics quality, hygiene, GMP are nailed every day, while also pushing for better. Better processes, better standards, better results. Its not a desk job. Youll be hands-on, visible, and involved. Youll lead and develop a large technical team, but youll also be the one who rolls up your sleeves when something goes wrong. Because thats what this kind of role takes. The business? A large food manufacturing group, not caught up in corporate politics, supplying some of the best products to the biggest retailers. Theyre heavily investing in new equipment, processes and automation, having just spent nearly 2m on a new facility. Background? At least 5 years experience as a Site Technical Manager in a large food manufacturing organisation. Direct experience with M&S and Tesco (this is non-negotiable) The ability to lead a team with a hands-on approach.
