ELECTRICAL BUILDING SERVICES DESIGN ENGINEERPOSITION : Electrical Building Services Design EngineerLOCATION : East YorkshireSALARY AND BENEFITS : Package £50 - £70k DOE + healthcareTHE ROLE : Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Building Services Design Engineer to work for them on a permanent basis at their office in East Yorkshire, some hybrid working is available. The client is happy to consider a wide range of experience levels from intermediate to senior, hence the wide salary range.This is a great opportunity to work on some exciting projects, helping to provide working building services design solutions to technical problems.DUTIES WILL INCLUDE :Assist with formulating the scope of works and developing the electrical design philosophyWork collaboratively with other members of the building services design team to ensure the timely delivery of information, checking the work of other members of staff and providing assistance to their continued learning and developmentWork effectively within a multi-disciplinary design environment such that designs consider the impact across all relevant disciplinesUndertake calculations by hand using design software such as Excel,MEPWorx, ElecOM, Relux, Dialux. Experience preferred but training can be providedProduce detailed design drawings and schematic drawings suitable for construction using CAD Software e.g. AutoCAD,Revit YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING :Previous experience working as an Electrical Building Services Design Engineer in a consultancy environmentWorking knowledge of the CDM 2015 regulations, ensuring that designs are compliant and produce Designers Risk Assessments for projectsAwareness of, and willingness to develop a working knowledge of, 3D Modelling and Building Information Modelling using RevitAbility to work effectively within a design team environmentExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyCompetent user of relevant design software packages, as well as Microsoft Word and ExcelAbility to work under pressure, whilst ensuring deadlines are metTo find out more about the Electrical Building Services Design Engineer role please call Steve Ball on the number provided BUILDING SERVICESELECTRICAL DESIGN ENGINEERELECTRICAL
