Job DescriptionHW Finance are delighted to be partnering with a well-established, sixth-generation family-owned business with a diverse portfolio of companies across maritime services, logistics, travel, property and renewables.A a newly created leadership role, reporting directly to the CFO, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the Groups finance function, lead financial strategy and deliver high quality reporting to support the business continued growth.Key Responsibilities:Oversee Group accounting, forecasting and management reportingEnsure compliance with statutory and external reporting requirementsDevelop and embed robust financial processes and controlsProvide insight and strategic recommendations to the CFO and leadership teamLead the preparation of budgets, forecasts and cash flow modelsManage banking, insurance and key stakeholder relationshipsMentor and develop the Group finance teamSupport operational and strategic decision-making across the GroupCandidate Profile:Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role ideally at Group levelStrong technical skills statutory accounting, tax, audit, controlsCommercial and strategic mindsetExcellent leadership, mentoring and stakeholder management abilitiesComfortable in a fast-evolving environment driving improvements and adding value
