We are moving towards a new Integrated Care standard, and our primary role will be to ensure our data is of the highest quality in preparation for the migration to a new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system and that our staff are confident in their data entry responsibilities. The Trust seeks aBand 4 Data Quality Officerto support the Data Quality team in improving data quality to the highest standard. This role will support the overall data quality function, including administration, data input, and monitoring to maintain key national and local data quality standards. Key responsibilities include: Supporting operational and business needs, including the introduction of new services, datasets, and information returns. Maintaining data consistency and integrity across all Queen Elizabeth Hospital systems to meet reporting requirements. Data cleansing: correcting errors, removing duplicates, and ensuring data relevance and completeness. Liaising with training colleagues to improve compliance and understanding through training courses and user guides. Developing systems to identify, report, and resolve data quality issues early. Proposing system improvements to enhance data quality, timeliness, and reliability. Supporting staff in better data entry practices; admin and clerical staff may act as Loggists during major incidents. All staff should have a minimum level of computer literacy as part of our digital maturity journey. There's never been a more exciting time to join TeamQEH.
