Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of installation work, they are looking to bring an experienced Fire & Security Installation Engineer into their dedicated installations team.This is a long-term, permanent opportunity offering stability, strong earning potential and access to ongoing training with a business that has an excellent reputation across residential, commercial and education-sector clients.The RoleYoull be working across London and the surrounding counties installing fire and security systems into:Residential propertiesSmall and medium-sized enterprisesEducation sector sitesInstallations vary in size and duration, ranging from one-day jobs through to larger projects lasting several weeks. Engineers typically work in small, supportive teams while benefiting from strong technical backup and structured processes.What Youll Be DoingFirst and second fix installation worksInstalling intruder alarm systems (primarily Texecom and Pyronix)Installing access control and door entry systems, mainly Paxton Net2Installing IP and analogue CCTV systems, including Hikvision platformsInstalling conventional and wireless fire alarm systems (including Advanced, Apollo and Kentec)Emergency lighting installationDualcom monitoring and associated communication devicesCommissioning, testing and handover of systemsCompleting job documentation and site recordsWorking in line with NSI codes of practice for installation, commissioning and maintenanceSupporting apprentices or junior engineers when requiredWhat Theyre Looking For23 years minimum experience as a Fire & Security Installation EngineerStrong experience across intruder alarms, CCTV, access control and fire systemsGood IP and basic networking knowledgeUnderstanding of compliance, quality standards and health & safetyStrong communication and customer-facing skillsOrganised, self-motivated and reliable approachFull manual UK driving licenceBased within reasonable access to London and the South East (Kent, Surrey, Sussex)Willing to undertake further training and security screeningNSSA Security Screening is requiredTraining & DevelopmentEngineers are actively supported with ongoing development, including:In-house and onsite technical trainingAccess to certified external courses with recognised training providersOpportunities to broaden skillsets across fire and security disciplinesClear progression routes as the business continues to growPackage & Benefits36,000 47,000 basic salary depending on experienceCompany van and fuel cardPension scheme23 days holiday rising to 25 days, plus bank holidaysAttendance bonus dayUniform, PPE, tools and equipment suppliedOngoing training and upskillingEmployee assistance programmeCompany sick payRewards and recognition schemesCompany eventsSmall, friendly teams with dedicated technical supportAdditional earnings through overtime, on-call and commissionWorking HoursMonday to Friday7.75 hours onsite per dayStart time up to 08:30Flexibility required depending on project size and durationInterested? xjdpvnf If you are interested in this role, please apply below or contact me directly.
