Senior Estimator

We're working with a well-established civil engineering and infrastructure contractor delivering a broad range of projects across sectors including infrastructure, highways, earthworks and structural works. With a strong order book and continued growth, the business is looking to strengthen its pre-construction team with the appointment of an Estimator or Senior Estimator.Scroll down for a complete overview of what this job will require Are you the right candidate for this opportunityThe RoleYou'll be involved throughout the tender lifecycle, supporting the preparation of competitive and commercially robust bids across a range of civil engineering and infrastructure projects.Key responsibilities include:Reviewing tender enquiries, drawings and specificationsPreparing detailed cost estimates and pricing project packagesObtaining and analysing subcontractor and supplier quotationsProducing cost build-ups for labour, plant and materialsIdentifying risks, opportunities and value engineering optionsSupporting the preparation and submission of tender documentationWorking closely with operational teams to ensure a smooth transition from tender to deliveryWhat They're Looking ForEstimating experience within civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction projectsGood understanding of tender processes and construction methodologyAbility to review technical documentation and develop accurate cost plansStrong commercial awareness and analytical skillsConfident communicating with internal teams and supply chain partnersIf you're an Estimator looking to work on larger infrastructure projects, or a Senior Estimator seeking your next challenge, feel free to get in touch for a confidential discussion.Aldwych Consulting values diversity and promotes equality. xjdpvnf No terminology in this advert is intended to discriminate against any of the protected characteristics that fall under the Equality Act 2010.
