Social Work Assistants play a vital role in the work of the team, supporting children and young people to remain at home with their families, when safe; in promoting the inclusion of care experienced children in their families; and supporting social workers in assessments of parents and carers. The role includes direct work in family homes, in the community and in our family centres.EssentialHNC/SVQ 3 in Social Care or Childcare and EducationOR considerable experience and a commitment to undertake such trainingA current driving licence and use of a vehicle is an essential requirement of this post.
