Our expertise includes drilling through granite, masonry, reinforced concrete, and tiles with precision and efficiency.We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional service, technical knowledge, and reliable solutions tailored to our customers’ needs.Role DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Trade Counter Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Dungannon.This is a hands-on position responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the trade counter, delivering excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of sales, stock, and staff. You will supervise and train team members, support customer requirements, and help maintain a professional and efficient trade counter environment.Key DutiesManage the day-to-day operation of the trade counterSupervise, support, and train counter and warehouse staffServe customers and maintain high service standardsMaintain strong product knowledge across fixings, fasteners, and servicesOrganise stock and coordinate ordering requirementsEnsure accurate invoicing, pricing, and account handlingContribute to a positive, organised, and professional workplaceQualifications & ExperienceStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle queries and resolve issues efficientlyGood product knowledge and the ability to explain technical information clearlyProven ability to train and support team membersStrong organisational and time-management skillsPrevious experience in a trade counter, builders’ merchant, or similar environment is essentialFamiliarity with the construction, engineering, or related industries is requiredThe Ideal Candidate Will HaveExperience in a builders’ merchant or trade counter environmentStrong leadership and people-management skillsA practical, organised, and reliable approachConfidence dealing with trade customers and account holdersThis is a long-term position with a well-established business, offering stability, responsibility, and the opportunity to play a key role in daily operations.
