With a strong reputation for quality, innovation, and service, they supply products globally and continue to experience significant growth.As part of their ongoing expansion, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven New Product Development (NPD) Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a strategic and creative professional to lead product development initiatives and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of a dynamic and evolving brand within the snacking industry.Key Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end NPD process, from initial concept through to launch, ensuring projects align with company goals and customer expectations.Oversee product trials and sensory evaluations, offering expert feedback to guide successful development outcomes.Manage detailed project timelines, ensuring all key milestones are delivered on schedule.Source and manage ingredients and materials, ensuring compliance with quality, cost, and sustainability standards.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Innovation, Production, Quality, and Commercial to ensure seamless development and market introduction of new products.Stay up-to-date with consumer trends, competitor activity, and market insights to inform product innovation strategies.Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements related to NPD and EPD activities.Provide leadership, mentorship, and development support to the NPD team.Candidate Profile - Essential Criteria:Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.Proven experience in New Product Development within the food manufacturing industry.Strong project management skills and the ability to lead cross-functional development teams.Experience managing and developing a high-performing team.Solid understanding of food safety regulations, HACCP, and quality assurance protocols.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively liaise with both internal stakeholders and external suppliers.Creative mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and innovation.Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on quality and deadlines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Flexible, reliable, and a strong team player with a passion for the food industry.This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the most forward-thinking snack manufacturers globally, where you'll be part of a passionate team committed to innovation and excellence.
