Job Description Role : Production Operative Conveyor Belt WorkshopLocation : CoalislandDuration : PermanentHours: 40 hours per week (3:30pm finish on Fridays)Salary: Competitive dependent on experience and suitabilityJob DescriptionWe are recruiting a Production Operative to join our Conveyor Belt Workshop team in Coalisland.This is a hands-on role primarily operating presses used in the production of endless conveyor belts.You will support the production team to ensure belts are completed safely, efficiently and tocompany quality standards.There is opportunity to learn different aspects of endless belt production, with progression into beltsplicing for the right candidate.Key ResponsibilitiesOperating belt presses in line with production schedulesMonitoring press times, temperatures and production cyclesLoading and unloading belts safelyCarrying out quality checks on finished beltsCompleting quality control paperwork accuratelySupporting general workshop dutiesMaintaining a clean and safe working environmentOccasional site work when requiredEssential CriteriaReliable with good timekeepingPractical and hands-onGood attention to detailComfortable completing basic paperworkFlexible approach to workshop and occasional site workAbility to lift medium to heavy weightsDesirable CriteriaExperience in a similar production, workshop or manufacturing roleForklift licenceValid CSR (Construction Skills Register) cardPrevious experience is beneficial but not essential full training will be provided for the right candidate.
