Environment, Health and Safety Manager

HSE ManagerLocation: DungannonSalary: £45,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)Sector: Food Manufacturing / FMCGWe’re working with a well-established manufacturing business in Dungannon to recruit a Health & Safety Manager. This is a key site-based role responsible for leading Health & Safety across the operation, ensuring compliance, driving best practice, and promoting a strong safety culture across all teams.The site operates in a fast-paced food production environment, so the right person will be hands-on, proactive, and confident working closely with operations, technical and site leadership.Key responsibilities:Lead site Health & Safety activity, including policies, risk assessments, audits, and trainingDrive site compliance with all HSE legislation and internal standardsWork closely with department managers to promote safe working and continuous improvementInvestigate incidents, ensure corrective actions are implemented, and drive root cause analysisMonitor, report and analyse HSE performance data and KPIsSupport wider business initiatives including wellbeing, sustainability and team engagementWhat they’re looking for:Strong experience in a Health & Safety role within manufacturing or a similar environmentNEBOSH Certificate as a minimum (Diploma or working towards would be a plus)Confident managing HSE compliance independentlyGood communicator, able to influence at all levels and promote a positive safety cultureExperience in food or FMCG manufacturing is desirableThis is a great opportunity to take ownership of the HSE function at a busy and growing site, with the backing of a supportive leadership team.
