Job DescriptionDevelopment Officer - Engineering (Welding and Fabrication) Salary: DA10, £39,155 - £42,128 per annum Campus: KingswayThe Engineering team are looking to recruit a Development Officer with specialisms in Welding and Fabrication. The post will involve assessing SVQs up to level 3 and undertaking commercial activity.You will have completed an apprenticeship in a relevant subject area, or hold an equivalent qualification in the subject area and have recent relevant industry and technical experience. You will hold (or be willing to work towards) the assessors qualification L&D 9. You will also have a full clean driving licence.It is essential that you have experience of working on a wide variety of welding processes with good technical knowledge.It will be an advantage if applicants have good IT skills, to develop and support the curriculum delivery.Closing date for receipt of completed application forms is Monday 19 May 2025.
