Job DescriptionDescriptionAs a Utilities (Underground Electric) Planner, you will be the key contact before works for the operational team. You will have full accountability for the planning aspects of all works before they commence on site with some Streetworks involvement. You will ensure that all operational teams are able to undertake their work in line with the received push plans and requested dates as well as compliant with NRSWA and ensure that KPI timescales are adhered to minimising any financial impact to the company.nKey ResponsibilitiesProject Planning and SchedulingnTake ownership of the workstreams, coordinating the work from receipt, through to job completion.nSchedule work orders in accordance with SLAs, whilst optimising travel routes and increasing productivity.nIdentify noticing issues and apply early intervention, to ensure that all information derived from inspections and other sources is correctly handled to ensure correct response from utilities and other promoters of Street Works activity.nEnsure that all the client and operational requirements are met in a professional and efficient manner.nProvide daily and weekly reports as required and to ensure that all service levels and objectives are achieved.nProvide a positive and innovative input into the team, through provision of solutions to problems and embracing change.nCommunicate project plans, status updates, and potential issues to all stakeholders, including team members, management, and clients.nParticipate in weekly operational planning meetings, daily operational PvA meetings, complete planning actions accordingly.nMonitoring and ReportingnMonitor project progress and handle any issues that arise, ensuring adherence to project timelines.nPerform risk management to minimise project risks.nPrepare and present regular progress reports, updates, and project health metrics to stakeholders.nEnsure that safety issues are reported in line with Company procedures.nDocumentation and CompliancenEnsure that all projects are documented accurately, including scope changes, project progress, and final deliverables.nEnsure compliance with all safety, regulatory, and industry standards within the utilities sector.nMaintain up-to-date project files and documentation.nMaintain timely and accurate input and uploading of information into the works management systems, ensuring that all issues are recorded and escalated.nExperience and QualificationsnIdeally you will have experience working in Utilities previously.nExperience in a planning / coordinator role.nExperience in Streetworks would be an advantage.nAbility to prioritise workload, multi-task and work under tight time pressures.nExcellent communication skills.nHigh attention to detail.nLogical mind.nSalary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary based on experience along with a full benefits package.nNetwork Plus is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
