Shift Manager Plastic Injection Moulding (Rotating Shifts) 50,000 per annum DOE Droitwich, Worcestershire Rotating AM/PM shifts - short Fridays, flexibility required for occasional Nights (M-Th) The Role Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, the Shift Manager will take ownership of shift performance, safety, and quality, leading a production team in a fast-paced, high-volume injection moulding environment. Youll ensure production targets are achieved efficiently and processes are continuously improved. Candidate Requirements Strong, hands-on knowledge of plastic injection moulding processes - a proven track record as a a setter / moulding technician for plastic injection moulding company Technical qualification (e.g. IMT ) in Plastic Injection Moulding / as a Mould Setter Proven supervisory / shift management and process optimisation experience Effective communicator with a proactive, team-oriented approach Committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence Flexible to work rotating DD shifts with occasional nights & overtime Key Responsibilities Maintain the highest Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) standards at all times Plan and allocate shift resources to deliver output to schedule Manage operational KPIs including OEE, quality, and efficiency metrics Drive a strong 5S and continuous improvement culture across the shift Provide technical leadership in injection moulding operations Support tooling changes, process troubleshooting, and problem-solving Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve performance goals Whats on Offer Salary: up to 50,000 pa (depending on experience) Overtime paid at enhanced rate Rotating shift allowance TPBN1_UKTJ
