One of our trusted clients near the Worcester area is on the lookout for a skilled HGV Technician to join their growing team.You'll be part of a well-established operation that handles a busy fleet of vehicles, ensuring everything stays roadworthy, reliable, and ready to go. From inspections to diagnostics, you'll take the lead in maintenance and repair across a range of trucks and trailers.As a Fleet Mechanic, you'll be hands-on with trucks and trailers, keeping them road-ready and safe. Think diagnostics, repairs, inspections, servicing and MOT prep. You'll be working on a wide mix of mostly Mercedes & DAFsWhat You'll Be DoingRoutine maintenance, servicing and repairsPrepping vehicles for MOTsDiagnosing faults (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)Managing parts inventory and sourcingCompleting repair documentation and following H&S standardsShifts (rotating weekly):Week A: Mon-Fri, 8.5 hrs/day (morning shift)Week B: Mon-Fri, 8.5 hrs/day (afternoon shift) + Sat 07:00 to 12:00Location: On-site in KidderminsterPay: From 18.00 per hour (based on experience/qualifications)On-call bonus also available on a 4-week rotationWhat You'll NeedNVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle (or equivalent), or time-served experienceStrong HGV, van and trailer knowledgeA logical, hands-on approach to mechanical issuesA proactive attitude and strong work ethicHGV licence a bonus - but not essentialWhat's in It for You?Company pensionFlexitimeFree, on-site parkingHealth & wellbeing supportReal opportunities to upskill or gain qualificationsJBRP1_UKTJ
