Additional benefits include a Health Care Plan, social events, and health check-in events.We are also considering candidates who want to transition their skills into this sort of position, maybe from backgrounds including machining, or machine tool fitting etc.The shift is a rotating shift Monday - Friday (6am-2pm) / (2pm to 10pm) weeklyWhy This Role Stands Out: Competitive salary with premium overtime rates Modern and supportive working environment Health care and wellness benefits Opportunities for career advancement Engaging social events and team-building activitiesKey Responsibilities: Service and maintain injection mould tooling to ensure smooth production Repair tooling following breakdowns Modify existing tooling as required Test machinery to ensure repairs and modifications are correctly completed Collaborate with the manufacturing department to optimise tool performanceSkills, Experience, and Education:Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and other departments.Knowledge/Expertise: Experienced in the repair and servicing of plastic injection moulding tools up to 10T Proficient in bench hand skills, milling, turning, and grinding Able to read and interpret engineering drawings Computer literate with solid attention to detailInnovation: Ability to identify and implement improvements in tooling processes Proactive in troubleshooting and resolving technical issuesBusiness Impact: Ensures minimal downtime in production through effective tool maintenance Contributes to the overall efficiency and productivity of the manufacturing departmentAccountabilities: Ensuring timely completion of all tooling maintenance and repairs Leading by example in maintaining high standards of workmanship and safetyJBRP1_UKTJ
