About Us Webb Automation is a leading UK manufacturer of precision powder filling machinery, serving industries including pharmaceuticals, food, and agrochemicals. We are seeking a Technical Sales Support person to play a key role in bridging the gap between the Sales, Design, and Project teams. Role Summary As a Technical Sales Support person you will support the Sales and Project process by meticulously checking sales proposals, obtaining technical information and equipment specifications whilst working closely with customers requirements in order to liaise and provide feedback to the Project Manager and the Design Department. This is a busy and varied role for a person who has a strong interest in engineering sales/projects and enjoys being proactive and working closely with multiple teams. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support to the Project Manager and Sales process Assist in preparing detailed quotations, technical proposals, and equipment specifications based on customer requirements. Work closely with the Sales, Design and Projects teams to ensure customer requirements are correctly interpreted and delivered. Provide technical enquiry support to customers and take lead enquiries related to powder filling machinery, dosing systems, and related automation equipment. Support installation and commissioning projects by coordinating with service engineers Liaise with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for upselling or repeat business. Organise technical documentation , manuals, and customer support materials Required Skills & Experience Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical mindset. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CAD drawings . Personal Attributes Technically minded and commercially aware. Customer-focused with a proactive, can-do attitude. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Team player with excellent interpersonal skills. Desirable (Full training will be provided for the right person) Prior experience in Technical Sales or Project Management Knowledge of powder handling, dosing, or filling systems .
