Family Lawyer – NQ to 2 Years PQE – DorchesterLocation: DorchesterHours: Full time, 35 hours per week (flexible working patterns considered)Salary: £40,000 to £50,000 PQE: Newly Qualified to 2 yearsChadwick Nott are pleased to be working with a well-regarded and forward-thinking law firm in Dorset, currently seeking a Family Lawyer to join their expanding team.This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor or someone with up to 2 years’ PQE to develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment. The successful candidate will work alongside a highly experienced Family Lawyer and gain exposure to a broad range of family law matters.The RoleYou will manage your own caseload and assist with a variety of family law issues, including:• Divorce and separation• Financial remedy proceedings• Child arrangements and related disputes• Advocacy and court representation where appropriateCandidate RequirementsThis role is ideally suited to a Newly Qualified Solicitor or FCILEx, or someone with up to 2 years’ post-qualification experience. Candidates must be able to demonstrate:• A solid grounding in Family Law, gained through training or post-qualification experience• Strong communication and interpersonal skills• Professional integrity and discretion• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines• A proactive and client-focused approach• Competence in Microsoft Office and case management systems• Access to own transport and ability to commute to DorchesterLocation & Working ArrangementsThe role is primarily based in Dorchester, with occasional travel to other offices. Hybrid working is available following a probationary period. Candidates should live within reasonable commuting distance.
