Role As a Social Worker in our fostering team, you willComplete mainstream fostering assessments and provide post-approval support.Undertake kinship assessments (including Reg 24, Fostering, and Special Guardianship).Assess and support Supported Lodgings and Staying Put arrangements.Contribute to the delivery of the Mockingbird model to strengthen fostering networks.Participate in the team duty rota, ensuring timely responses and continuity of care.Full understanding of legal /court systemsExperience SWE (HCPC) Registration and a Degree in Social Work (or equivalent).Minimum 3 years post-qualified experience within an English Local Authority.Strong knowledge of: Children Act 1989Care Planning Regulations 2010Fostering Regulations 2011National Minimum StandardsAbility to apply theoretical frameworks, practice models, and research findings.Access to a car and willingness to travel across Dorset. xjdpvnf Enhanced DBS (we can arrange this for you).
