This role focuses on delivering high-quality, compliant advice on defined benefit (DB) pension transfers, personal pension transfers, and wider retirement planning.You will work with clients who require clear, expert guidance on their retirement options, often involving significant technical analysis. This is a role for a highly skilled adviser who understands the regulatory expectations around transfer advice and who is comfortable working proactively in a remote environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide specialist advice on DB and personal pension transfers, ensuring full compliance with FCA rulesConduct detailed analysis and broader suitability modellingDeliver holistic retirement planning advice to clients alongside transfer recommendationsReview and present suitability reports, maintaining robust documentation and audit trailsWork collaboratively with paraplanners, case managers, and compliance teamsBuild strong, long-term client relationships and provide ongoing review supportQualifications & SkillsProven experience as a Pension Transfer SpecialistStrong technical knowledge of DB schemes, CETVs, retirement income solutions, and transfer risk considerationsExcellent communication skills for delivering complex advice clearlyAbility to analyse detailed financial information and produce high-quality recommendationsMinimum Level 4 qualification in financial advicee.g., CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (DipPFS), LIBF DipFA, or equivalentMANDATORY specialist pension transfer qualification, such as:CII AF7 – Pension TransfersLIBF Pension Transfer (PETR)Equivalent FCA-approved pension transfer qualificationComfortable working independently in a remote roleStrong commitment to compliance, accuracy, and professional standardsRemuneration & Benefits£50,000+ salary (experience-dependent)Advisor bonus schemePension contribution: matched to 5% (7% after 5 years)Death in service: 4x annual salary23 days annual leaveAnnual leave purchase schemeBirthday off with payPerkBox membership
