Want to take real ownership of how a battery asset performs?Fidra Energy is developing a major grid-scale battery asset at Thorpe Marsh and is looking for a Performance Manager to take ownership of how the asset performs once operational.This role sits at the intersection of Operations, Commercial and IT/OT teams, ensuring the battery delivers the performance it was designed for while operating safely within its technical, warranty and compliance limits.What youll be responsible forMonitoring asset performance across availability, efficiency, degradation and key operational KPIsAnalysing dispatch and operational data to identify performance risks and optimisation opportunitiesEnsuring the battery operates within technical, warranty and compliance limitsWorking closely with operations teams, optimisation partners and OEMs to resolve performance issuesProducing clear performance insights and reporting for senior leadership and investorsHelping shape how Fidra manages performance across its future BESS fleetWhat youll likely bringYoull already have experience working with grid-scale battery energy storage assets and understand the operational realities of how these systems perform.Youll be comfortable analysing operational and dispatch data, understanding battery degradation and performance behaviour, and working with operations teams, optimisation partners and OEMs to improve asset performance.Why this role mattersThorpe Marsh is the first of several major assets in Fidras pipeline.The way this asset performs will shape how the entire fleet is operated in the future.A full briefing pack will be shared with suitable candidates upon application.Sonder & Metric have been retained to oversee this search and will be managing the process on Fidra Energys behalf.
