Role Overview We are seeking a passionate, experienced, and client-focused Family Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Family Executive to join a well-established legal firm in Doncaster. This role will focus on delivering high-quality advice and representation in Private Children and Domestic Abuse cases, with a desirable knowledge of Legal Aid processes. You will be responsible for managing your own caseload and undertaking advocacy on behalf of clients. Key Responsibilities Handle a full caseload of Private Children Law and Domestic Abuse matters. Conduct your own advocacy at court when required. Maintain excellent client relationships, offering empathetic yet professional guidance throughout proceedings. Provide advice on and process Legal Aid applications (if applicable). Draft legal documents, statements, and correspondence independently. Attend client meetings and court hearings, ensuring a proactive and results-oriented approach. Stay updated on changes in family law and contribute to continuous improvement and compliance. Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure smooth case progression and a positive working environment. Ensure adherence to SRA regulations and internal compliance protocols. Person Specification Qualified Family Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Family Executive. Demonstrable experience in Private Children Law and Domestic Abuse cases. Experience with Legal Aid is highly desirable. Confident advocate with experience representing clients in court. A positive and proactive approach to both client service and team collaboration. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Passionate about family law and committed to achieving the best outcomes for clients.
