You will manage a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring highquality service delivery across a range of sectors.Your responsibilities will include:Preparing and reviewing statutory accountsPreparing financial statements for limited companies under FRS 102, with full working paper files for manager and partner reviewPreparing corporation tax computationsPreparing personal tax computationsPreparing selfassessment tax returnsProcessing VAT returns and HMRC tax returnsVAT and bookkeeping work for larger clientsPreparing P11DsPreparing Tax reportsAssisting clients with monthly and quarterly management accountsEnsuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS, Companies Act 2006, and relevant tax legislationManaging client queries and maintaining strong client relationships across a varied portfolioWhat you''ll need to succeedTo succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of three years experience working within a UK accountancy practice, with handson experience managing client relationships. You will be qualified, partqualified ACA or ACCA, or qualified by experience. You will have strong experience preparing accounts for limited companies as well as for sole traders and partnerships. You should also have experience preparing corporation tax computations, personal tax returns, VAT returns, and HMRC submissions. A solid working knowledge of cloud accounting software is essential.The ideal candidate will be friendly, approachable, and able to build strong client relationships. You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail, able to work independently within a small team environment, and committed to delivering exceptional service.
